With this short video, Expedia explain how easy it can be to travel using its App. 

This campaign is very attractive and shows to the customer all the services offered. 
They are demonstrating that Expedia is not only selling services but also following and assisting you during your whole trip.

This is definitely an excellent campaign to build strong relationship between the OTA and the customer.

New Guest Experience in the Hospitality Industry

We can wonder if this is not going to be too much for customers and if they are all ready for this kind of experience. 
Even if some of them will be more than delighted, there is still some people that truly like to exchange and communicate with their hosts.  

Using ipad will definitely reduce costs (paper, salaries...) and make everything going so much faster. 
It can be very successful in a business side but I am wondering if we can keep a strong relationship with guests by overusing technologies. 

The whole hospitality is going to change but are we all ready?

They can reach their own customers but also a large potential one that have a easy access to their online campaigns. With digital marketing, all the brands have the choice to tell their story and to attract customers through different methods (entertainment, education, utility...).
Another advantage for the Travel & Luxury Industries is to be able to attract young people (Facebook/Twitter for example) that are maybe not their target right now but that can easily become their future loyal customer.
